Back to seriousness
Yesterday, a friend was praying at our nearest 40 Days for Life venue. A young mum, around fifteen or sixteen, was driven up in a Lexus by her mother, boyfriend, and another female friend. The young woman ran away from her entourage and embraced my friend. She was in tears. She did not want her baby to be taken from her. When her entourage yelled at her to return, she adamantly said, "I can't. It's murder."
A clinic worker with gloves walked towards the girl, with the girl's mother and dragged her to the back of the clinic where there must have been a back entrance.
My friend was devastated as she stood by helpless. The counselor came later and tried to give a Project Rachel brochure when the girl came out. The mother waved it away. The girl was in the back seat lying down, eyes closed.
Tell me. Who was served in this?
Pray for this young mother. Her life will never be the same. She was forced to do something against her will. Two lives devastated by others' selfishness.
Kyrie eleison, Christe eleison, Kyrie eleison.
Please find the the nearest 40 Days for Life campaign venue and consider praying. We're halfway through the campaign. I know that our venue has many open slots. If you can't go, consider praying where you are...for those who are praying, for those who will lose their lives today, and for the conversion of abortion mill workers and owners.
It is the line in the sand. Whom shall we serve?
