With the Pope

~from today's General Audience

Pope Benedict XVI is greeted by La Sapienza University students at the end of his weekly general audience at the Vatican January 16, 2008. University students poured into Vatican City on Wednesday to show support for Pope Benedict after protests over his views on science forced him to cancel a speech at Rome's top public college. The German Pontiff decided late on Tuesday not to deliver an address at La Sapienza university on Thursday following protests by a small but vociferous group of students and faculty members. Some had occupied part of the campus to demand he stay away. REUTERS/Osservatore Romano (VATICAN)
