Mobile suicide service

~from CWN. (Sliding further down the slope)

A Swiss "right to die" organization has introduced a new mobile service to help people commit suicide.

Dignitas, a group founded in 1998 to assist people who want to end their own lives, has begun offering to meet clients at pre-arranged locations, and provide them with a drink laced with drugs that will cause a quick and supposedly painless death.

Dignitas began its mobile service after losing a lease on its headquarters in Zurich. Neighbors had complained about the number of deaths occurring at the group's site. Swiss police have told reporters that they do not anticipate filing charges against Dignitas, since the individuals who have committed suicide with the group's help have acted of their own volition.
